Kristine McGuire joined the Southern Illinois University Foundation as the Constituent Development Officer for Morris Library in January of 2005. Kristine has been in the development field for 23 years working for organizations as varied as the Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Foundation to medical research facilities to a small children’s science building.  Her responsibilities include working closely with the Friends of Morris Library and the Board of Visitors to increase private support of the Library.  Kristine has a bachelor's in theatre from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  She also has a SIUC connection; her eldest brother and his wife each received their master’s degree from here in 1963.  Kristine lives in Carbondale with her husband, Patrick, and miniature schnauzer Buddy.
