Rick Shipley joined Southern Illinois University Carbondale as Director of Development-Chicago Region in June of 2002. In this position he will handle fund raising efforts in the Chicago area. Prior to his appointment, Rick had been the sales manager at an industiral supply company in suburban Chicago. Rick is an SIUC alumnus, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1992. He was a member of the SIUC Men’s Basketball Team from 1987-1991, and has been a color analyst on the radio broadcasts since then.
